Hey guys! I know I have been talking all about my trip to Florida, but I have not done a full round up of my spring break. Overall, it was so great to be home regardless of how short the time was. I loved spending time with my family and friends. Unfortunately, most of my friends were not on break so I got to have a lot of quality time with my family, which was great!
I left my internship, stopped and got a coffee, and made my way home. My mom and dad and I ate fish, due to Lent, for dinner and I had to pack up for my trip. My best friend came over and literally sat and watched me pack. I am sure that was quite boring for her.
I spent this day traveling to get to Florida. We were back and forth to the airport to pick up the other members of our party. We ended up spending our evening eating hoagies from the local Publix and hanging out in the hot tub.
You probably read all about my travels and adventures through Orlando, florida in my two previous posts; Travel Diary: Orlando, FL and Eating & Drinking Around the World in Epcot. Here are a few more photos from those days!
I caught my flight home from Florida in the morning and landed in Pittsburgh around noon. My mom and I had to do some shopping. My mom needed some new dress pants and I needed some things for graduation. Naturally, we both picked up things we did not need as well! I was excited to check off my dress and shoes for graduation. I was starting to fret a little about it even though I have plenty of time before my graduation photos are even being done. The day was finished off at a Japanese steakhouse for my cousin’s birthday.
On Friday, I went and got my hair done. It is one of my favorite things to have freshly colored and cut hair! After that my mom and I did not do much of anything. We lounged around and caught up on our favorite Thursday night shows then met up with some friends of the family for dinner after my dad got home from work.
My brother had a double header baseball game this day. We sat in the cold for 18 innings and I was not sure if I would ever feel my toes again. The real feel outside was 21 degrees. Quite different from being in the Florida sun for five days! After the games, we went out to dinner as a family. It was nice to see my brother, as that was my only opportunity during my break.
On Sunday, I had to pack up and head back to school, which is something that I never look forward to. I like being in Pittsburgh with my friends and family all around me.
Thanks to everyone for reading and staying up to date with my day to day life! I actually just found out that my friends and I will be heading back to the Orlando area in April right before we graduate! I am so excited to be back in the area one last time before real life begins for me!
