Hey friends!! Welcome back! How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun? It was an exciting weekend to be a Penn Stater with the big win over Michigan! I did not go to the game, but it was exciting nonetheless!
Today, I have a tasty new recipe for you guys to try out!! This meal is healthy and delicious, perfect for a family.
Pasta with Chicken, Turkey Bacon, and Vegetables
- 4 chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
- 30 cherry tomatoes, sliced
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 6 cups of spinach
- 15 slices of turkey bacon, chopped
- 2 tbsp. of garlic
- Chopped parsley to taste
- Oregano to taste
- Farm Dust seasoning to taste
- Peppercorn Medley to taste
- 3 tbsp. of olive oil
- 1 lb. pasta of your choice
Start by putting water on to boil and add the noodles upon boiling water. Chop all of your vegetables, chicken, and bacon. Once chopped, put the vegetables in the pan with 1.5 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons garlic, and the spices to your taste. Once cooked, put the vegetables in a bowl. Cook the chopped bacon in .5 tablespoons of olive oil. When the bacon is warm, add that to the bowl. Finally, use the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and cook the chicken. Add seasons and parsley as you find necessary to your taste. Add all ingredients back into the pan and mix. Finally add in noodles and combine the pasta dish. Serve while hot and enjoy!!
