The Ultimate 21st Birthday Cake

Hey friends!!  How is everyone doing?  Is it just central Pennsylvania or is the weather crazy everywhere??  One day I feel like I need to pull out the winter weather gear and the next day I am back to wearing flip flops. Weird……

Today I am going to be talking about a 21st birthday cake I made for one of my roommates!  I am sure everyone has seen the drunk Barbie cake in the past, but did you know how easy it is to make one?  My roommate loved it and so did all of our guests at her birthday party!

What you will need:

  • Barbie Doll
  • Toilet (in the past I have used a shot glass for the toilet but a roommate had a literal toilet from her bday!)
  • Boxed cake mix
  • Frosting
  • Sprinkles
  • Sharpie
  • Scissors
  • Miniature alcohol bottles
  • 21 candles

To make this cake, I followed the directions on the back of the Funfetti boxed cake mix.  While the cake was cooling, I took a black Sharpie and drew around the Barbie doll’s eyes to make it look like her mascara was running.  I also cut her hair to be the same length as the birthday girl (this part is optional).  Once the cake was cooled, I frosted it and stuck the toilet and Barbie in the cake.  I filled the toilet (or shot glass) with sprinkles and put them around the toilet as well.  The Barbie is leaning over the toilet after her rough night.  I had once stuck her shoes in different parts of the cake, or you could leave them on, as I did this time!  I put the miniature alcohol bottles in the cake, around the Barbie.  Finally, I put the 21 candles towards the front.
