Back to School: Apartment Edition

Hello everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts around here.  It has been a little crazy the past couple of weeks.  I was packing to head back to school and then I had to move to school last weekend.  It seemed as if the summer flew past and the school creeped up on me just a little too soon.

With that being said, I am now finally settled in my apartment and starting to adjust to the craziness that comes with college.  This week the professors ran through the requirements and expectations of each of the classes.  That is always so overwhelming to me, as you see so much work placed in front of you and I always wonder how will I ever get through….

Below I have added photos to show how I decorated my bedroom of our apartment.

Adding personal touches to a bedroom away at school really makes me feel like I am at a home away from home.  I have picture frames that were made and/or bought for me from friends and family, along with pictures hung on the wall.  All of these make me feel as if love and support is surrounding me, which is so important to be successful in my opinion.   I keep a print out of a quote on my dresser that says “God is within her, she will not fall. Psalm 46:5”.  I keep this there for constant encouragement and a reminder to believe in myself!

If you wish to see more college related posts, be sure to let me know and I will be happy to write some more.  Have a fabulous rest of your weekend!

Xoxo, Kay

  1. Your apartment is so cute, and I love how you styled your bed to look like a day bed. It’s so adorable and functional. Having a homey and comfy bed is seriously needed after a long day of college classes.
