Broccoli Slaw

Hi readers! Welcome back! I have a super easy and yummy recipe for you guys to try out!! It is perfect to take as a side dish for a party or serve at your evening meal.  This is a good dish for the health- conscious person, as it is a low-calorie alternative to traditional coleslaw, which is commonly made with mayonnaise.

Broccoli Slaw

Ingredients: 

  • 1 package of Green Giant broccoli slaw
  • 1 package of Dole angle hair coleslaw (green cabbage only)
  • 1 2 oz. package of slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup of raisins
  • 1 bottle of Makoto ginger dressing

Put everything in a bowl and mix until everything is combined thoroughly.  Let the dish chill in the refrigerator for about an hour before serving.

This dish pairs nicely with chicken, ribs, steak, etc.  You can also toss grilled chicken into the slaw to make it into a salad, which is awesome as well!
