Hello friends! I am back again with another new blog post for you guys!! I hope everyone is enjoying the start to their summers. School is finally out for most people, which means now it is time for some fun in the sun! Unfortunately, fun in the sun also means the dreaded bathing suit season.
I know for myself, sometimes I struggle finding motivation to get up off my butt and get moving. Sometimes just telling myself I have to do it works, while other times it helps for me to get dressed to start to get into the workout mindset. In addition, some days I will do a workout at home rather than ever leaving the house. What are some ways you conquer laziness? Be sure to let me know in the comments below!
So, when I do stay at home to do my workout, I often do the Jessie James Decker Workout video on youtube!! I always feel like I am getting a killer workout in (always sore the day after) and a minimal amount of equipment is required. I have the video linked here. She does talk for a bit at the beginning which I found beneficial to listen to her the first time. She gives a lot of helpful tips and tricks that she applies to her everyday life.
After I do her workout two or three times through, I will get on the treadmill we have at out house and do my favorite treadmill workout. I inserted the workout to the right so be sure to check it out! I will typically do this two times through. I always feel like I have had an awesome workout after doing this a few times. You can adjust the times and speeds to work for you and work towards faster and longer speeds/times.
If you do not have a treadmill in your house, go outside and walk/run in your neighborhood. In my opinion, something is ALWAYS better than nothing. Choose a route that includes hills for a better workout. I really enjoy long walks because I get a workout while doing something that I find relaxing.
