Money Cake

Hi friends!! Sorry I have been a little absent this week, but we were preparing for my brother’s graduation party that took place yesterday!  I had made him a super cute money cake as his gift and I wanted to share it with all of you!  If you have the time, this is an easy and fun, though time consuming, gift to make for your graduate!

Money Cake:

To make this cute little gift, you will need two different sizes of styrofoam, ribbon, something to use as your “cake topper”, and about 85 one dollar bills (I used $86).  I also did not want to be able to see the styrofoam so I picked up scrapbooking paper that had graduation caps on it to cover the styrofoam.

As I rolled each dollar bill, we taped it to the ribbon so it would stay rolled.  Once the rolled dollars were long enough to go around the styrofoam, I used tacky glue and glued along the tape to get the dollars to hold to the styrofoam.  I used some stickers and graduation decorations to make the money cake a little fancier 😉

Thanks for stopping by everyone!! Be sure to like, comment, follow, and share!  Have a happy and peaceful Sunday!

Xoxo, Kay
